Ed Toler, wife Dana, and children, Jeremy and
Hannah, came to Man O’ War in July of 2007 to serve as Associate
Pastor.
At 42, Toler, has spent more than half his life in ministry as an evangelist and senior pastor. He was intentionally selected by Pastor Mitchell because of “his caring heart for humanity, brilliant pulpit preaching and untiring work-ethic and, an almost rebel-like approach to
ministry”.
“He stands apart from so many career preachers, seemingly driven by ego and fainted by a love of money. He
is refreshing, anointed and does things in an out-side-the-box way that is necessary in these times,” Pastor Mitchell says. “He is driven by love, not selfish ambition. I am honored to labor alongside this man of
God.”
In conjunction with his ministry here, he is building a mission work in a nearby town requiring him to sometimes preach three times on Sunday. He feeds more than 5000 people each year face-to-face and has acquired and distributed more than 200 tons of food, one thousand mattresses and truckloads of every kind of solution to every kind of problem hurting people face - all this within the last two
years.
Ed is well suited to fill his broad ministry role here at Man O’ War. He teaches and preaches regularly each week here at the church, at the mission and in revivals and conferences around the country and is currently working on a book to be published in the fall.
